Don’t you love how God has provided us with a multitude of promises? We must seek the promises. These promises are found in the Word for our comfort. Love takes a large amount of effort. Therefore, we should take the time out of our lives to read, study, and apply the bible to our own lives. The way we show love is through the effort we put in God’s Word. There are many gems that speak of His love for us within its pages. One of them is where He promises that if we diligently seek Him, He will be found.

First, we are to respect and honor our God, demonstrate awe and always remember our position (He is our CREATOR). God loves us unconditionally which brings us comfort and reassurance. We are told that there is NO FEAR in love and that a perfect love will cast out all fear. We need not ever fear approaching His throne and mercy seat. He freely offers forgiveness time after time after time.

His love for us is an enduring love. He is faithful, even when we are faithless. We may walk away from His love or rebel, but like the prodigal son, we are always welcomed home with open arms the moment we repent. His love will continue, even if it is one-sided. However, when we love Him back, our relationship with him will grow and becomes more intimate.

Yes, God rejoices over us with singing. This is not just when we repent and return to Him, like a sheep brought back to the fold. I believe He rejoices over us when we make choices that glorify His name. He must sing every time we share the Good News with a lost soul. Indeed, every time we choose to live and love in righteousness He smiles.

Our God is full of compassion and slow to anger, abounding in love and faithfulness. He has an EVERLASTING love for His children. His faithful love for us is always in action. With an unconditional tenderness and compassion He seeks out a relationship with man. Which is His own creation!

If you are feeling like your sins have covered you in filth and that you are unfit to approach God in prayer, then you are wrong. This is lie from the pit of Hell that society has warped you into thinking is true. Under your cloak of dirt, God recognizes you. He will wash you as white as snow with the blood of the Lamb, and cleanse you with HIS righteousness.

Don’t let sin separate you from the love of God. He longs for your fellowship and cries out to you. With loving-kindness He draws you. Knock on the door of His heart and He shall answer. He longs for your undivided attention just as a groom longs for his bride’s affections.
